Founded in 1992 in Hull, Signsdisplay.com Ltd has grown from a specialist supplier of estate agent boards into a nationwide print and signage operation. As demand increased, Signsdisplay.com invested heavily in digital print technology in 2012 with the installation of an Agfa Jeti 3020 Titan printer. While the new printer significantly boosted production capacity, it also highlighted a bottleneck in the finishing department. To address this challenge, the company sought a digital cutting solution capable of matching the printer’s output.
Following demonstrations from several manufacturers, Signsdisplay.com selected the DYSS X7-2230C digital cutter. Its robust South Korean engineering, advanced drive system, and seamless software integration made it the ideal partner for the Agfa printer. The machine’s 2200 x 3000mm cutting area, conveyorised bed, and routing capabilities provided the flexibility required for a growing and increasingly diverse product range.
Over the past decade, the DYSS X7 has become a vital part of the company’s production workflow. It enables efficient finishing of Correx boards, Foamex, polypropylene, banners, and bespoke shaped signage without the need for costly tooling. This has allowed Signsdisplay.com to offer creative, custom-cut products in both small and large volumes while reducing labour costs and turnaround times.
Today, Signsdisplay.com handles thousands of customer enquiries and supports hundreds of estate agents across the UK. The company has expanded its offering beyond traditional T-boards to include shop signage, promotional materials, printed displays, and a wide range of estate agency marketing products.
