Cutting Fabrics and Textiles

Cutting Textiles and Fabrics - Innovative Roll Tension SystemWe offer a range of innovative and specialised tools for cutting fabrics and textiles. With a DYSS you can process materials like leather, upholstery and all other flexible, fabric based materials. You can specify our rotating blade tool (RBT) which will cut your fabric perfectly without snagging.

If you are processing standard roll materials like paper and vinyl, unwinding is normally provided by a passive Roll-Off device. However, the potential wrinkling and stretching of porous textiles are a totally different proposition. AG/CAD and DYSS have overcome this perplexing challenge with a sophisticated dynamic tension roll-feed solution on the cutting table.

Auto Material Tension System

You can have at the rear of your DYSS an auto tensioning system which applies a constant tension to fabrics. Furthermore it dynamically adjusts the forces on the materials as unwinding takes place, thus eradicating creases and wrinkles. Different materials and roll widths require different tension levels, so to cater for this the system has an almost infinitely variable tension control feature allowing quick and simple adjustment by the operator for each material. By cutting fabrics and textiles with the consistent tension specifically required for each, customers can ensure unsurpassed cutting precision whilst preventing any deformation that could compromise the precision and cut quality.

If you add our Vision system to this set up you will get a 24/7 automated production machine for your textiles and fabrics business. In addition you will be able to process a vast range of other materials both rigid and flexible. You can not only reduce existing bottlenecks in finishing, but enter new market sectors and increase your profits.
