Once designs have been approved it is imperative that the product is manufactured efficiently. Best use of material is always a priority, this can be automatically calculated using KASEMAKE’s intelligent layout function.
The intelligent layout function can either calculate best fit to a known sheet or machine size, or as a specific number in horizontal and vertical (e.g. 3x2). Gutter between designs and trim around the sheet are taken into
account. KASEMAKE calculates a number of possible layouts for the designer to choose from.
These layouts can be used for producing multiple samples on the cutting tables, exporting key lines for graphics applications, or sending to the die maker to produce the cutting forme. With the multiple layout function the designer has more control over the planned route through the factory, which reduces the cost of tool design from the die maker.
