KM Series 5 machines are supplied, as standard, with the ‘Flexi Head’ (F) which has 5 tool stations. A wide variety of tooling is available to cater for most materials. Tools can be quickly and easily interchanged to suit the application.
Tooling

Tangential Multi Function Station - A Hi frequency electric oscillating knife is fitted to this station as standard and is capable of cutting material up to 15mm thick. Other compatible tools for this station are available as options including a heavy-duty pneumatic oscillating knife, non-oscillating knife, router and rotary powered cutter.

Tangential tool station 1 - This station accepts a range of supplied creasing tools with a variety of profiles for different materials, and can also take an optional non-oscillating knife or kiss-cutter. For creasing it is possible to set different depths/pressures along and across materials that have grain or fluting to reduce cracking.

Tangential tool station 2 - Accepts the same tooling as Tool Station 1. Typically this station will be fitted with a non-oscillating knife, but it may also be set up with an different profile creaser to save having to change the creaser in Tool Station 1 when working with different materials.

Pen Station - This station contains a high quality pen for plotting directly onto film, tracing paper, mylar, paper, die board, etc.

Camera Station - This station is reserved for the Vision System

Vision System A high definition camera automatically recognises printed registration marks and then compensates for the positioning of the job to give perfect cut to register.
